Frequently asked questions.

  • PAWFECT LIFE offers a personalised, relationship-based experience that goes beyond a single photoshoot. I take time to understand each dog’s personality through pre-shoot consultations and behavioural questionnaires, creating a relaxed and safe environment.

Clients can sign up to a yearly subscription with end-of-year hampers full of gifts and prints.

I also give back by partnering with local vets, shelters and charities, using my PAWFECT LIFE to support animal adoption and the local pet community.

  • Each session starts with a relaxed meet-and greet so your dog feels comfortable.

I use your pup’s favourite treats, toys, and have plenty of patience to capture their personalities as best as I can.

  • Sessions can take place wherever your dog feels happiest. At home, in your backyard, or at their favourite park.

  • Most sessions run for around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your dog’s energy and comfort level.

I take my time to make sure your pup feels relaxed and we capture a mix of playful and calm moments. There’s no rush. The session moves at your dog’s pace.

  • That’s completely up to you!

Some clients love jumping in for a few shots to capture the bond they share with their dog, while others prefer the focus to be just on their pup.

I’ll always ask what you’re comfortable with. There’s no pressure either way.

  • That’s totally fine!

I work with all kinds of dogs, including those who are nervous or reactive.

Before the session, you’ll fill out a dog behavioural questionnaire so I can plan accordingly.

We’ll choose a quiet, low-distraction location or shoot at your home to keep your pup relaxed. I move at their pace and use positive, gentle techniques to make the experience safe and stress-free.

  • Absolutely! I love photographing families with more than one dog. I have two myself!

We’ll take things slowly to make sure each pup feels comfortable and gets their moment to shine.

I usually start with individual portraits before capturing group shots, and don’t worry, I’ve got plenty of tricks (and treats!) to get everyone looking at the camera at once.

  • Booking a session is easy! Just get in touch through my phone number or email to arrange a free consultation.

We’ll chat about your dog, choose a location, and go over packages, consent forms, and what to expect on the day.

Once your session date is confirmed, a small deposit secures your spot.

  • You’ll receive your edited digital photos within 2–3 weeks after your session.

I’ll carefully select and edit each image to highlight your dog’s personality and the best moments from the day.

Once they’re ready, I’ll send you a private online gallery to view, download, and select any prints or add-ons you’d like.

  • Your photos will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images in full resolution.

From there, you can also order prints, albums, or wall art if you’d like.

Subscription clients will also receive printed photos and a personalised end-of-year hamper with keepsakes featuring their pup’s best moments.
